Objectives
The simulator ticks each one as soon as the network meets it.
On every router, add the core interfaces under ldp interface-parameters with ipv4.
Commit, then check show router ldp session: P has two sessions.
PE1’s show router tunnel-table lists an LDP tunnel to 3.3.3.3/32.
PE2 has an LDP tunnel back to 1.1.1.1/32.
Ping PE2’s system address 3.3.3.3 from PE1.
Before you start
By default SR OS LDP builds labels for the system /32 only, which is exactly what PE-to-PE services need. The tunnel table is where BGP services look for a transport tunnel.
Concept
MPLS labels and LDP
MPLS forwards packets by a short label instead of looking up the IP address at every hop. LDP gives each IGP prefix a label on every router and shares it with neighbors, building a label-switched path (LSP) through the core.
