Objectives
The simulator ticks each one as soon as the network meets it.
Add the system interface and every router interface to pim on R1, R2 and R3.
On R3 add interface "if2" to igmp, and commit on every router.
On PC3 join 232.1.1.1 from source 10.1.1.10, then ping 232.1.1.1 from SRC: PC3 replies.
On R3, show router igmp group lists 232.1.1.1.
Before you start
A source-specific join goes straight toward the source, so no RP is involved. IGMPv3 carries the source; it is SR OS’s default.
Concept
Source-specific multicast (SSM)
With SSM the receiver names the source as well as the group, so its router can join the source straight away. There is no RP, no register and no shared tree; a channel is simply (S,G). The SSM range is 232.0.0.0/8.
