Objectives
The simulator ticks each one as soon as the network meets it.
- In the system view, rename the router: sysname Branch1. The prompt changes at once.
- Open interface GigabitEthernet0/0/0 and describe it: description Office LAN.
- Give it 192.168.1.1 with a /24 mask, and switch it on.
- Return to the user view and read display current-configuration: your changes are there, in memory.
- Read display saved-configuration. Nothing has been saved yet.
- Save it: save.
- Restart the router: reboot. Branch1 comes back with its address.
